The purpose of the Small County Coalition is to give increased visibility and support to issues of primary concern to small counties and rural communities.
The Small County Coalition is comprised of County Commissioners of 38 Counties in the State of Florida.
A small county is defined as having a population of 150,000 persons or less. However, the coalition may have associate and affiliate members, with populations greater than 150,000 but still share the same concerns as small counties.
The Coalition is led by an executive committee, and regional representatives from throughout the regions of the State of Florida.
